Dennis Rodman Bursts Into flames In Bizarre Pistachio Commercial With Kim Jong Un Lookalike -- New York Daily News

The former NBA star's recent diplomacy efforts have left many people puzzled but his latest appearance in a Wonderful Pistachios ad might show that he's nuts and that's no bull!

Endorsement-savvy Michael Jordan used to give teammate Dennis Rodman pointers on the court — but it looks like he needs tips on choosing commercials.

Rodman, former rebounding champ for the Chicago Bulls, recently appeared in a bizarre advertisement for pistachios with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's doppelganger.

Is This The 'Sex Tape' That Got Kim Jong-Un's Ex Killed?

Is This Video Of Three Korean Women Dancing In Leotards To Western Music The 'Sex Tape' That Got Kim Jong-un's Ex-Girlfriend Executed? -- Daily Mail

* Video of dance trio reported to be 'sex tape' by some Chinese media
* Shows three women dancing to Elvis's Aloha Oe on stage
* Hyon Song-wol executed amid claims she appeared in pornograhic videos
* A dozen musicians were apparently executed in public by machine gun

A video of three Korean women dancing in leotards is rumoured to be the 'sex tape' Kim Jong-Un used to justify the execution of his ex-girlfriend.

The seemingly innocuous clip shows the trio dancing to a version of Elvis' Aloha Oe in cowboy hats and tasselled skirts.

However reports from China - North Korea's only ally - that it was this video that led to the execution of Hyon Song-wol and 11 other entertainers.

Did North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un Execute His Ex-Girlfriend For Making A Sex Tape?

Executed: Hyon Song-wol, right, has apparently been put to death by her ex-boyfriend Kim Jong Un, left

Kim Jong-un's Ex-Lover 'Executed By Firing Squad' -- The Telegraph

Kim Jong-un's ex-girlfriend was among a dozen well-known North Korean performers who were executed by firing squad nine days ago, according to South Korean reports.

Hyon Song-wol, a singer, rumoured to be a former lover of the North Korean leader, is said to have been arrested on Aug 17 with 11 others for violating laws against pornography.

The reports in South Korea's Chosun Ilbo newspaper indicate that Hyon, a singer with the Unhasu Orchestra, was among those arrested on August 17 for violating domestic laws on pornography.

All 12 were machine-gunned three days later, with other members of North Korea's most famous pop groups and their immediate families forced to watch. The onlookers were then sent to prison camps, victims of the regime's assumption of guilt by association, the reports stated.

Why Has The U.S. Not Labeled North Korea A State Sponsor Of Terror?

North Korea Sponsors Terrorism -- Weekly Standard

But not according to the State Department.

Even after a year of North Korean nuclear and missile tests, this year's State Department “Country Reports on Terrorism” makes the risible claim that North Korea is "not known to have sponsored any terrorist acts since the bombing of a Korean Airlines flight in 1987." It would appear that State's definition of "acts of terrorism" no longer includes international assassinations, threats against foreign media, or arms sales to terrorists—all of which North Korea has done during Barack Obama's presidency. Indeed, no one has refuted State's assertion more convincingly than Obama himself.

In 2005, the Illinois congressional delegation wrote to North Korea's ambassador to the United Nations to protest the abduction and probable murder of the Reverend Kim Dong-shik, a wheelchair-bound U.S. resident who lived in the Chicago suburbs until 1993, when he went to China to help North Korean child refugees.

My Comment: There has always been a hope in the U.S. State Department that North Korea would come out of the cold .... that some political reconciliation would be reached. Labeling North Korea a state sponsored of terror would kill any possibility of such a discussion .... unfortunately .... North Korea is a state sponsor of terror, and they have no interest in changing.

North Korea Builds Online Troll Army Of 3,000 -- The Telegraph

North Korea has put together a team of 3,000 cyber warriors as part of attempts to build support for the regime of leader Kim Jong-Un and destabilize its enemies, according to a South Korean think tank.

The hackers include 200 agents who post anti-South Korean comments online to try to demoralise the population of the neighbouring country.

Agents use identities stolen from South Korean internet users and post comments on the country's internet bulletin boards, the institute said.

Hackers also spread propaganda by breaking into South Korean websites and linking them to pro-Pyongyang sites. North Korea defends its own websites by developing applications to stop Seoul blocking access and constantly changing IP addresses.

The institute says North Korea spreads propaganda through 140 sites with servers based in 19 countries.

North Korea Launches It's Own Smartphone

North Korea Launches A Smartphone Or At Least That's What These Photos Suggest -- The Daily Telegraph

NORTH Korea is reported to be manufacturing its own smartphone, with leader Kim Jong-Un giving his seal of approval to the project.

The communist state's KCNA news agency showed Kim touring a "factory" and inspecting the phone, which it claims is produced using "indigenous technology".

The handset is named Arirang, after a famous North Korean folk song.

Specifications of the handset are unknown but the young leader "noted that these hand phones will be very convenient for their users as their camera function has high pixels", KCNA reports.

GRTV | 60 Years of Strife: Ending War in Korea, August 11, 2013

Source: grtv.ca, corbettreport.com

On the surface, the casual observer of Korea could be forgiven for forgetting that the nation is still at war. The South has been utterly transformed since the days of the fighting, with the impressive skyline of modern-day Seoul reflecting the country's modern, high-tech economy. Even the DMZ has been tamed and gentrified, with souvenir shops and tourist attractions mingling seamlessly with military personnel whose presence at times seems more ceremonial than operational.

But beneath that surface remains the deep, lingering scars of a nation divided against itself, and the memories of a bitter, brutal war. Now, 60 years after the signing of the armistice, Korean peace activists are working harder than ever to confront the myths that have propped up and maintained this state of war, spearheading an effort to finally bring real peace to the Korean peninsula. -grtv.ca

2013 - China Rises: The Seat of "The New World Order"

Source: World United News
Road to Endless War – The Final Chapter – Crash of the Western Empire (2011)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPPAr_S_q7U

China was chosen as the seat of power by the global banking cartel to run their New World Order.

It began in 1971 when Henry Kissinger went to China ahead of Nixon to talk to Deng Xiaoping, the father of China’s Industrial revolution and former wealthy land-owner before the communist party took over. Coincidently the same year, Taiwan was removed as a permanent member of the UN Security Council (1971) and Mainland China took its place. Then US President Richard Nixon, the crook, changes the monetary system (1971) by removing the Gold standard and replacing it with worthless fiat money. Instantly this destabilizes the global monetary system and leads to crisis after crisis, in oil, and all things sold…inflation began to kick in. While China prepared to move from an agricultural society to an industrial society, the nations of the World began to go into an inflationary period…all synchronized and controlled by a rigged banking system that is centered on exponential growth.

In 1985 Free trade became the way in which companies could leave North America for cheaper costs in Mexico and then eventually move to China. From this point on, the western industrial capacity shrunk and relocated to China. I was in the packing Industry so I saw this first hand as China became a massive economy. In essence, while the Western economic balloon deflated, the Chinese Balloon inflated directly and by design.

Deng Xiaoping was the man that removed Chairman Mao. He had incredible power within the Communist Party and he is the reason that China is the economy it is today…but lets face facts…he had a lot of Western help. While the western companies were setting up shop in China, the Rothschild Gold Bullion Banking relocates to China (1994). In 1997 the UK govt hands over Hong Kong with its stock market running on all thrusters…China then plugs in and begins the run and expansion of their economy at a phenomenal growth rate. Meanwhile the EU prepares to take down Europe with their New Currency “The Euro”, the USA deregulates the housing industry by removing Glass Steagall and follows that up with an inside job on 911 which began the Road to Endless wars to bankrupt and finish off the USA economy completely…

Recently we have seen an escalation of war as the economies of the World print currencies that are locked in with the fiat based US reserve dollar, and the US printing presses have gone into overdrive. All the banking crimes are visible now, and silently in the background China has been plugged into all the Western oil supplies in places like Canada’s Tar sands, and war torn Iraq….China is also getting its oil from everywhere else as well.

China’s UN position to allow US led NATO to destroy Libya, was mind boggling, considering we were sold on a story that China needed African oil. No matter, they just walked over to Iraq with the US blessing and plugged into the oil there…then they did nothing to stop Syria from being destroyed…all the while our stores are filled with cheap Chinese trinkets…

Now that the EU & IMF have demanded that the Cyprus govt steal money out of the peoples accounts so that they can go further into debt with a loan from the ECB and IMF, everyone is expecting the obvious “Bank Runs” across the Euro Zone and indeed North America. They took 60% of peoples savings! Then, only a few days later, the BRICS set up a New Global Investment bank to compete against the World Bank, and the West does nothing…meanwhile, and as we go back to North Korea and the US led sanctions which China signed on to at the UN security council, we see North Korea, one of the last countries to hold out against the USA become the next target…all started and provoked by the USA with its rigid posture of sanctions and military presence and activity in South Korea since 1953! However what has changed is China’s position…this tells me that the war has arrived and will be used to crown China as the global victor and seat of power of the New World Order…and with the potential to put 600 million people into military service (In China military service is mandatory) no one will beat them in a conventional war, while no one wins a nuclear war. China can occupy every country in the World with millions of soldiers if it chose to…a brief war on the Korean peninsula would certainly crown China as the last superpower. If things get out of hand we will see it very soon.

However, even if there is no war, what becomes abundantly clear is that the economic model chosen by China and the BRICS remains the same and this model is based on exponential growth. We, the people of the Earth will not survive this direction in any way shape or form…its time to evolve away from the economic growth model to a one that takes care of everyone’s needs instead of taking care of the greed of an elite few…

The United States has sent F-22 stealth fighter jets, to participate in ongoing military drills with South Korea. Pyongyang earlier said it was in a 'state of war' with the South following the latest round of sanctions over its nuclear test two months ago. In turn Seoul warned that its ready to carry out a pre-emptive strike on its neighbour, in case of imminent attack. North Korea declares state of war with South

http://rt.com/news/north-korea-vicious-cycle-russia-072/

North Korea has entered a “state of war” against its Southern neighbor, stating that from now on any issues between the two countries will be resolved in a "wartime manner."

“From this time on, the North-South relations will be entering the state of war and all issues raised between the North and the South will be handled accordingly,” a special statement by the country’s top military command reads, according to the KCNA state news agency.

“The situation in the Korean Peninsula, which is neither peace nor war, has come to an end,” the statement says.

However, technically, the two Koreas are still in state of war since a peace treaty after the 1950-53 conflict had never been signed.

With North Korea placing its ballistic arsenal on high alert targeting American bases and the US tenaciously increasing military presence in the region, the whole situation risks “spiraling out of control” soon, warned Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov.

Both North Korea and the US bear responsibility for the recent substantial escalation of tensions, Lavrov said on Friday, calling on “all sides not to flex their military muscle.”

"We are concerned that alongside the adequate, collective reaction of the UN Security Council, unilateral action is being taken around North Korea that is increasing military activity,”Lavrov added, apparently referring to US plans to boost missile defense against the North, the joint US-South Korean contingency planin the event of an attack as well as their recent military drills.

In a noteworthy contrast to all the previous war games, this time American B-2 bombers flew over 10,000 kilometers to stage a mock bombing of Korean soil, in a move that US officials confirmed to be unprecedented.

Following this “reckless provocation” North Korean military command held an urgent overnight meeting during which the state’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un signed a decree placing the Strategic Rocket Force on standby.

“The situation could simply get out of control,” Sergey Lavrov told journalists on Friday, calling for a resumption of a six-party discussion of North Korea’s nuclear arsenal within the framework of country’s international obligations

While N. Korea has firmly pledged to “settle accounts with the US imperialists” and “mercilessly strike the US mainland, their stronghold, their military bases” in case of any further provocations, US officials seemingly do not consider the threat to be as real as the democratic republic is trying to present it to be.

The threats towards the US are only hurting North Korea itself as well as its people, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on Friday.

“The bellicose rhetoric emanating from North Korea only deepens that nation's isolation,” Earnest said, adding that North’s unconditional renouncement of nuclear arms is the only clear path to resolve the situation.

Despite all the tensions, the United States is capable of defending its interests in the region, Earnest added.

Propaganda or serious threat?

Military experts agree that North Korea is at least several years from building a nuclear warhead or a missile capable of reaching the mainland US, which makes the threats, at this point, groundless.

However, a detailed plan of a nuclear strike on the US mainland can be clearly seen behind the North Korean leader on photos published in national newspaper. Such a demonstration of nuclear capabilities is likely aimed at an internal audience, in support of the idea of “sweeping away the US aggressors.”

Nevertheless, US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel admitted on Thursday that “every provocative, bellicose word and action” of Kim Jong-un has to be taken seriously.

Earlier this month Washington decided to address North Korea's faster-than-anticipated progress in nuclear weapons development, announcing that the US will have 14 missile interceptors up and running by 2017, even abandoning a key part of its Eastern European missile defense plan in order to curb the threat from North Korea.

North Korea says its missiles can strike US mainland

Failed missile launch - North Korea 2012

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/10/09/265667/n-koreas-missiles-can-hit-us-mainland/

North Korea says it has "strategic” missiles that can hit targets inside the US mainland, responding to a new US-South Korean deal to extend the range of Seoul’s ballistic missiles.

"We are not concealing the fact that (North Korea's) revolutionary military, including strategic rocket forces, has placed not only South Korean enemy forces and US forces in the Korean peninsula but also Japan, Guam and even the US mainland within its target range," the North’s National Defense Commission said in a Tuesday statement.

It added that Pyongyang was ready to react to any attack with "nuclear for nuclear and missile for missile" strategy.

The statement came two days after Seoul said that it reached an agreement with Washington to extend the range of its missiles from the current limit of 300 km to 800 km.

The extension will not only bring the whole of North Korea but also parts of China and Japan within reach of Seoul's rockets.

Tensions have been high between the two Koreas since four South Koreans were killed on November 23, 2010, after North Korea fired dozens of artillery shells onto the populated small island of Yeonpyeong.

Seoul demanded an apology from North Korea over the deadly shelling of the island, while Pyongyang said it shelled the area as a result of provocations by Seoul.

North Korea accuses US of attempting to spark war

Source: Russia Today
http://rt.com/news/north-korea-thermonuclear-capability-461/

A top North Korean diplomat lays the blame for unceasing tensions between the Koreas solely on the US. The Korean peninsula is the world’s biggest hotspot, he acknowledged, mentioning thermonuclear conflict as a possibility.

Speaking at the final session of the UN 193-member General Assembly, North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Pak Kil-yon announced that, “Due to the continued US hostile policy towards the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea], the vicious cycle of confrontation and aggravation of tension is an ongoing phenomenon on the Korean Peninsula, which has become the world's most dangerous hotspot where a spark of fire could set off a thermonuclear war."

North Korean diplomat focused on the relations between Pyongyang and Washington, for 60 years co-existing without a peace treaty since the war in 1950-1953 which ended with an armistice. The diplomat accused the US of nourishing an idea of total destruction of his country since the day it was founded, in order to “occupy the whole of the Korean Peninsula and to use it as a stepping-stone for realizing its strategy of dominating the whole of Asia.”

The State Department of the US has offered no comment on the speech so far.

North Korea’s statement in the UN is notable for at least two reasons. Pyongyang conducted two nuclear tests in 2006 and 2009, but has so far never mentioned or hinted that it possesses military thermonuclear technology – a real step-up from uranium- and plutonium-based nuclear weapons. In July, though, North Korea warned its southern neighbor and the US that it is going to “re-examine its nuclear capabilities” after perceiving new threats. That warning came after Seoul, Washington and seven other countries conducted 80,000-person war games in South Korea in June.

The six-party nuclear talks with Pyongyang commenced in 2003, but were interrupted several times. For nearly a decade the US, Russia, China, Japan and South Korea have been negotiating with North Korea in order to stop its nuclear program. But Pyongyang took one step forward, two steps back, pulling out of the six-party talks on April 14, 2005, saying it would resume its nuclear enrichment program in order to boost its nuclear deterrent. The country also expelled all nuclear inspectors from its territory.

On October 9, 2006, Pyongyang conducted its first nuclear test, which finally led to UN sanctions against the country and discontinuation of the six-party talks.

In August 2011, after a meeting with Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev, North Korean leader Kim Jong-il said he is ready to resume the six-party talks on the settlement of the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula without preconditions. But the death of North Korea's longtime leaderon December 17, 2011, drew the proposal to a halt.

Since the death of Kim Jong-il, the DPRK’s representative in the UN has been silent – until the angry speech on Monday. It appears that the transfer of power to Kim Jong-il’s son, Kim Jong-un is over, as the North Korean diplomat addressed to his country’s new leader as to “our dear respected marshal.”

The military title of the new North Korean leader might serve as evidence that the country’s policies are not subject to change and the role of the army in the country’s life has even grown up. The young leader Kim Jong-un is very fond of visiting army units throughout the country.

Deputy Foreign Minister Pak Kil-yon said Pyongyang is aware of US “plans” to implement finalized scenarios for a new Korean War and impose military rule over whole Korean Peninsula after an invasion.

However, Pak Kil-yon warned, “The DPRK's patience does not mean it is unlimited," with obvious reference to his country’s proven nuclear capabilities, which prevent the US military “from turning into an all-out war on the Korean Peninsula”.

North Korea has always stressed that it needs nuclear arms to deter the threat by the US, which maintains a number of military bases in South Korea and Japan, with dozens of thousands of troops and rumored nuclear arms stockpiled on those territories.
